| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2012 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle the windshield wipers and wiper fluid motor would not operate. In addition, the door locks had stopped working. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the tipm was faulty and needed to be replaced. The tipm was replaced but after retrieving the vehicle, the brake lights would intermittently malfunction and would not illuminate. Also, the contact mentioned that when switching on the turn signal the fog lights would flash on. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who diagnosed that the replacement tipm was also faulty and needed to be reprogrammed. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 55,400. |
