Description of the problem	I received the brake booster recall notice a couple of months ago. I took my jeep to the dealership for an oil change and mentioned the recall so it could be inspected. Upon leaving i was told they had to order parts which were on back order and would be a couple of months. I was under the impression that my vehicle was still safe to drive, but wednesday july 2nd the booster failed during rush hour at highway speeds. I was very lucky not to hit/injure/kill anyone as traffic slowed and i couldn't. I managed to get to the shoulder and coast to a stop, but what if i couldn't? Of all things to fail on a vehicle the brakes shouldn't be one. If my vehicle wasn't safe to drive then i never should of been sent out of the dealer with it. I am now stuck in a rental while i wait for my vehicle to be repaired with no eta. I contacted jeep customer service, but have not received a response. *js
