| Description of the problem | My 2011 jeep grand cherokee that is equipped with a v-8 5. 7l engine failed because of a faulty fuel pump relay inside the totally integrated power module (tipm-7). Fortunately the vehicle was not moving at the time and would not start. The car has been sitting at the dealer since 11/4 because chrysler has informed them that there is a backlog of well over 1,000 tipm-7 units and they don't know when or if they will be available (their words, not mine)! Frankly, i am outraged as a consumer. I paid $42,000 for a vehicle i cannot use. |
