| Description of the problem | Driver-side and passenger-side interior door handles both (at different times) just broke for no reason and started crumbling in pieces. It started about a year ago. I asked about it at our dealership. They informed me there were no recalls or anything. I looked it up online and saw that there have been many jeep cherokees having this same issue and no one understands why there has been no recall on this common problem. My handles have gotten so bad that i am afraid of the safety issue for my family and i now. Of course the vehicle was stationary, as we were trying to get out of the vehicle when both of the handles did this. |
