Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep grand cherokee. When the contact attempted to start the vehicle, it would not start without warning. The contact discovered that the clip that connected the solenoid to the starter became detached. The contact had to push the clip back onto the solenoid in order to start the vehicle. The contact sustained burns to his hand that did not require medical attention. The failure recurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed that the starter wiring harness and clip had to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
