Description of the problem	While driving on a 5 lane interstate at 4:30 pm, i accelerated to move over into the far left lane and lost all acceleration while doing this. Also, the check engine light came on while this happened. Had to coast across five lanes of interstate into the emergency lane. Stopped the car and put it in park. Waited a minute and put it back in drive and the accelerator magically worked again. The check engine light remained on, drove to an auto parts store to have the code checked. The technician said it was code p0730, gear ratio incorrect. *jb
