Description of the problem	When putting transmission into drive, the vehicle will not accelerate, this problem first occurred at approx 31,000 miles. The dealership replaced the shift control module. The problem went away. Then again at 62,000 miles, when pulling into traffic, the vehicle started to accelerate, then lost power. Another vehicle had to swerve to miss me, i would have been hit in the drivers door had he not swerved. My vehicle would not move, after cycling the ignition key , the problem went away, took to dealer they told me that the same shift control module needs to be replaced (again) for 750. 00. The vehicle is unsafe to drive and i am shocked that someone has not been killed by this issue as there are hundreds of reports of this on the internet. This is absolutely a manufacturing defect as it has happened on a wide number of identical vehicles with the same repair being performed only to have the problem repeat itself.
