| Description of the problem | 2007 and newer jeep grand cherokee and laredo has a programming defect in the brake lights. If foot is on the brake, removed then quickly reapplied the brake lights do not come back on. Only the third/center brake light comes on. This only occurs when the headlights are on so you still at least have the taillights. But no right or left bright brake light. Dealer duplicated the problem on all units in their stock. Chrysler acknowledges the problem but is doing nothing to correct it. I sold the vehicle last month as i won't drive a vehicle with defective brake lights. |
