| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 jeep grand cherokee 4x4. The contact started the ignition andd a loud, rattling noise emitted from the outside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who detected a faulty catalytic converter. The technician explained that the entire exhaust system must be replaced in order to perform the catalytic converter replacement. On two separate occasions the engine power was significantly low during acceleration. The manufacturer and dealer were notified of the defect.
