| Description of the problem | I have a 2007 jeep grand cherokee diesel. Bought new, nov. 07. At about 28k miles, on may 24, noxious fumes started coming through the a/c vents while idling, after coming to a stop. Took to dealer. They had it for 3 days, got a run around, they said chrysler tech line said it was normal, told me to set the a/c system on recirculation. Service manager admits he smelled it but they couldn't find the problem. Called chrysler tech line, they said the same thing also that i should take it to a dealer with better technicians. Problem is getting worse, stinks, causes eye sting. Probably exhaust fumes, smells like a natural gas leak only worse! |
