| Description of the problem | I received a letter in the mail from goodyear tire & rubber company called a "customer satisfaction program". It concerns the eagle rsa emt (run flat) tires that were installed on my 2006 jeep. I called the consumer relations number listed on the letter and they directed me to a local dealer. The dealer told me the tires can separate inside and basically come apart! The dealer has to take them off the rims and inspect the inside of the tire and then determine if it's good or bad. If it's bad they will replace that tire, but only if they "think" it's bad? What happens if they think it isn't bad and it comes apart later on? Either this is a recall or it isn't? If it is then all the tires should be replaced! *nm |
