Description of the problem	Starting at around 55,000 miles while i would be driving my jeep, the car would stop moving but the engine would rev as i pushed on the pedal. I would not be able to go in drive, neutral or reverse. I would have to put the car in park and turn off the vehicle, wait a few seconds then restart the car. I have had my car at my mechanics as well as a jeep dealership, a total of 5 times, now ready to go back in for the 6th time. Each time i am told the problem is fixed and a day or 2 later it happens again. When i call to let the mechanic know i am having the problem again, i am then told that neither they nor the dealership know what the problem is and to bring it back in. Leaving me without a car for days. I have spent a lot of money on this vehicle and do not want to spend thousands more fixing a problem that is not fixable. I have 2 small children, and fear that somebody is going rear end the car when is just stops. I have contacted the manufacturer of jeep and was told only "certain" 2006 jeeps were under recall, mine was not one. All i could do was make a complaint. So i made a verbal and now written complaint, hoping something gets done.
