Description of the problem	I was recently driving on residential road going about 35mph under normal conditions and the automatic jeep grand cherokee laredo 2006 stalls. The check engine light appears. Pressing on the gas pedal will rev the engine but it is like the jeep is in neutral. Everything else seems to work accept the car is not in any gear. The dashboard indicates the car is in drive. I have to coast off to the side of the road. I turn the ignition off before restarting, then the car seems to run fine for awhile. This has happened 3 times over the last month. The first time i took the car into a local jeep dealer where they could only fine old codes in the jeep computer system noting inactive transmission problems which they since cleared and were unable to do much else. An error code for the o2 sensor was also found and the o2 sensor was replaced. I was told to try it out and let them know if it happens again. That was about 10 days ago. Since then i have had two incidents that have occurred over this weekend, i have yet to contact the dealer which i plan to do this week.
