| Description of the problem | The faulty valve seats failed and destroyed my engine which left me stranded while traveling out of town. Engineers know the design was faulty as revision to address this situation were made in 2008 to correct the problem for the newer models. A recall should be issued for the earlier models to have the revised seats installed. This is negligent and will hurt the chrysler name if not addressed soon. I had just pulled of the highway to refuel with no indication of any problems. The jeep would not restart after filling the tank. |
