| Description of the problem | Suddenly every dashboard warning light, a/c, headlights, etc. Turns on and off. Dealer recommended to remove everything from the key chain (?!) so they knew then that there is an issue with the ignition switch. It helped for a while until same thing happened february 2013, but this time engine stalled for a couple seconds. I took it to the dealer and called chrysler. Chrysler said it's going to be my problem until nhtsa issues official recall. Dealer will charge me $360 for a new ignition switch tomorrow. All 2006 jeep owners - if you have the same problem - don't just read this, file a complaint. Looks like this is the only way to wake up chrysler. |
