Description of the problem	The ignition appeared to drop all gauges, blower, warning lights, etc. The entire dash went dead and all controls went dead as far as gauges, interior lights, fan motor, etc., although the vehicle appeared to keep running. The problem seems to be getting worse and worse, and we have been waiting over a year for jeep to get the parts to replace the switch. They refuse to replace the switch with a new switch matching the same part number, but also have not secured replacement switches. It appears that they can continue to source switches for cars in production they wish to sell, just not the ones affected by this recall. Perhaps if someone halted sales of new cars until the auto manufacturers provided replacement parts for those under recall, we would have better performance on recalls.
