| Description of the problem | Rented 2006 jeep cherokee at airport. During two stops at intersections i reached to switch radio stations and accidentally and lightly brushed the keys in the ignition. They switched to "acc" and the vehicle turned off. When i say "lightly brushed" i mean just that. I wasn't even aware of what had happened until the second incident. Two things appear defective: the placement of the ignition and the fact that just a light touch turns the key off. Had i done that while driving, the car would have immediately been inoperable and a dangerous situation would have occurred. *nm |
