| Description of the problem | I own a garage kept, 2005 jeep grand cherokee limited 2wd with approximately 80,000 miles. 3 of the 4 interior door handles are severely cracking making it difficult to open the door. This is a safety concern because once they full break, the door in unable to be opened from the interior. Cost to repair each door is over $800. I contacted jeep customer support on 6-22-15, but was told this was not a known issue and that there was no assistance they could provide in repairing the door. This is a well documented safety issue and needs to be address so that consumers can get assistance in dealing with the safety problem. |
