| Description of the problem | After dealer performed recall 13v175000, traction control is inoperative but no lights are illuminated to indicate the failure of the traction control system. Also, shifting the transfer case is inoperative. No warning lights or informational messages are displayed to indicate the loss of functionality. Dealer has cleared codes and replaced parts multiple times, but the problem remains. Safety issues are: 1. Driving in remote areas in low range, and being unable to shift into high range prevents driving on paved roads... Which could leave a driver stranded. 2. Failure of traction control system could result in loss of control, especially in winter. |
