| Description of the problem | All four of my door handles in my 2005 jeep grand cherokee developed cracks in them between 2011-2012. The back left passenger has completely broken out and my son is no longer able to exit my jeep from that door. The driver's side door handle is the next to go. This will leave me unable to exit my jeep. This is a vehicle safety issue that i am very concerned about. I spoke to service advisor at airpark chrysler/jeep that said he had never heard/seen that before and there was nothing he could do to help me. I have researched on the internet for recalls and it appears that jeep is not willing to recall this major vehicle safety issue with hundreds of complaints about the same defective plastic door handles. |
