| Description of the problem | Front driver-passenger side door panels. I recently discovered that my front driver and passenger door panels have cracked around the interior door handle. The cracks have progressed to the point where the door handles dislodged from the panel from repeated use. The cost of each panel is $770. 00, excluding labor. The dealer where purchased stated "there is nothing we can do about it." what's disconcerting is that the back of panel shows reinforcement (thicker plastic) for the window buttons but the material is paper-thin for the door handle. Once the door handle falls off, the only way to open the door is to roll down the window and push the exterior button. I have filed a complaint with chrysler. |
