| Description of the problem | Re: 2005 jeep grand cherokee limited - interior door panels (where door handle is attached) are cracking and falling away resulting in the door handles no longer being attached to the door. This requires, at times, the door to be opened from outside the vehicle. Chrysler will not replace as the vehicle is out of warranty. The dealership wants $700 + labor (per door) to repair something that is obviously a manufacturing/material defect and safety hazard. |
