| Description of the problem | I have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee that i purchased new. All of the plastic around the door handles has broken apart and now both of the rear doors cannot be opened from the inside. The front doors seem that they will be next to follow and the dealer says that the entire door panel must be replaced for an estimated cost of $485 each door. I find it very unsafe for my children to be in the back seat and not being able to bet out of the vehicle unless opened from the outside. The door handles should be addressed and i have read that there are many other reports of this happening. Please help, i love my jeep.
