| Description of the problem | Driver side interior door handle has completely broken off. The other 3 door handles have also started to crack and become loose. It starts with a crack in the plastic, the crack then turns into a hole above the metal handle. The actual metal handle itself then loosens up and completely comes off. This is a serious problem that many other 2005 jeep grand cherokee owners have had. It's not from excessive use, it's a manufacturer defect. I cannot get out of my car unless someone open the door from the outside. I would assume this is a serious safety hazard considering it traps the operator inside the vehicle. |
