| Description of the problem | While driving the vehicle i receive a message on the info center displaying "transmission over temp" the fan kicks on high and the vehicle will not go faster than 25mph. I have to pull over, turn the vehicle off, wait 30 seconds, turn it back on and it goes away. Had my vehicle at the transmission shop and had it thoroughly looked through and the pcm is to blame. It is very common on these vehicles. I feel it is a saftey concern due to the "transmission over temp" displaying every couple of miles as i drive. Calling chrysler directly to ask of the problem and they were very rude and hung up on me. Not happy!! |
