Description of the problem	While driving for about 20mins the was a hard shift and my truck was stuck in 3rd gear and the check engine light came on. I took it to a mechanic and he said it could be the shift solenoid and it would cost 700 to take my transmission apart to check it. $700 later im still having the problem i bought the car at 82k im now at 92k i keep up regular service. What is weird is when i turn my turn my truck back on its no longer in 3rd and it stays that way for sometimes weeks but it comes back surely.
