Description of the problem	From the first day took deliver of 2005 jeep grand cherokee ltd. 5. 7 lt hemi engine, first in when pressing accelerator in low rpm, then when reached 80 mph. On flat freeway (with 400 miles on the odometer), ecessive groan and noise from the engine. Same noise was not present on identically equiped test-drive vehicle. Apparent high frequency vibartion, especially in low cruising sppeds on perfectly flat pavement. Vibration strength increasing in higher rpm. Hesitant engine in low rpm and while accelerating. Apparent underpowered operation, compared to test-driven vehicle. Two jeep dealer service technicians test drove the vehicle for 50 miles. Problem confirmed by service. First attempt, failed to fix malfunction. Adivsed to bring back for a longer stay. Second attempt - after 50 miles of operation - (vehicle stayed in dealerhip service for 4 business days) unsuccessful attempt to fix aqain. Vehicle assessed as safe to drive until daimler chrysler advises on another solution. Currently vehicle with approx. 600 miles. *ak
