| Description of the problem | The interior door handles are breaking off as a result of weak material, this problem is widespread for jeep owners throughout the us, and abroad, this is a major safety concern for potential victims of a crash, or even worse a fire or a water evacuation as it is next to impossible to safely exit the vehicle without the support of an operational door handle.. There is most certainly other complaints regarding this issue, the edmunds forum has an extensive complaint list for this issue, and it's not just the 05 models.. The dealerships are offering a fix for $700 per door, please look into this problem before someone is killed as a result if no has died already. This is in regards to 05-08 models of the jeep grand cherokee interior door handles. *tt |
