| Description of the problem | 2005 jeep grand cherokee - interior door handles broken all of the interior door handles on my vehicle have broken. Apparently the only available fix is to replace the entire door panel assembly. I have solicited quotations for each panel, and the lowest offered price has been $750/panel. Based upon the fact that 4 of 4 handles have broken in the same manner, i believe it sound to conclude the handle suffers from a hidden vice or defect. Luckily, i live in a state that allows recovery for breach of the warranty against redhibition. However, i can only imagine the disappointment and anger for like consumers who have no recourse to address this defect. Please do the right thing and persuade the manufacture to remedy via recall. |
