| Description of the problem | 2005 jeep grand cherokee interior door handle trim completely shatters for no apparent reason. Door handles are inoperative from inside the vehicle. Every door handle has this same issue. Chrysler-jeep officially denies any culpability, but will give a discount off of the $2,500 repair bill, so consumers must pay $1,000 for the manufacturing defect. Even extended warranties will not cover the issue. I hope to god no one ever desperately needs to get out of one of these death traps in an emergency. |
