Description of the problem	2005 jeep grand cherokee interior door handle trim completely shatters for no apparent reason. Door handles are inoperative from inside the vehicle. Every door handle has this same issue. Chrysler-jeep officially denies any culpability, but will give a discount off of the $2,500 repair bill, so consumers must pay $1,000 for the manufacturing defect. Even extended warranties will not cover the issue. I hope to god no one ever desperately needs to get out of one of these death traps in an emergency.
