| Description of the problem | 2005 jeep grand cherokee limited hemi engine, door panel cracks leaving handles broken off in rear, two front door handles show signs of severe cracks, loose. Contacted local dealer who said they would cover a portion of the replacement, no recalls were issued etc.. This vehicle on occasion has children as passengers and i would think chrysler would be concerned for the safety of passengers with door handles that are broken. It appears that the material that these parts are made of are very low quality and i am shocked that the manufacture has not stepped up to the plate and paid for the replacement. After what i have read on blogs and on line about the same complaint from other jeep owners, this makes me consider not buying another chrysler product in the future. |
