| Description of the problem | I have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee. The interior door panels and handles to open the doors are all broken. The dealership wants $600-700 per door to replace. This is a safety defect rendering the passengers unable to open up the doors. The chrysler corp should do a recall and fix this obvious and dangerous design/manufacturing issue. As a result of the broken door panels, the door handles will not properly open up the doors for both the front and rear passenger doors. If there is ever an accident and those doors are the only escape route, they will render the passengers trapped in the car. |
