Description of the problem	I have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee and the car started to stall sporadically. At first it just started when i stopped at the lamp posts or stop signs, after it started to stall sporadically anytime. I looked up on the internet and found that jeep already recalled several grand cherokees because of the front control module issue. I called jeep line and they told me that i should take it to the service as it could be a recall issue. I took my jeep to the service (john hoffer, topeka, ks) on 2/22/2010 when they changed some pump and they said it is fixed; it was not and the car died on me 3 times, i took back the car to the service and they told called me that i have a front control module issue and we need to change it. I called jeep right away gave them my vin and they told me that yes it was a recall issue about this module, but they are sorry my vehicle is not in the recalled ones and i have to pay the 1200 usd to change the module. My questions: who is responsible this safety issue as the vehicle could stop in the middle of the highway? If jeep recalled several thousands of vehicles about the same issue how could they say that it i not their problem?
