Description of the problem	Tlthe contact owns a 2005 jeep grand cherokee. The contact noticed a massive hesitation with his vehicle. The vehicle would not start and the dealer was notified. The vehicle was towed to a repair shop and a new starter was installed. After the repair was performed, the check engine indicator illuminated. He went through a drive-thru car wash and noticed that the vehicle began to hesitate. When he placed extra pressure on the accelerator pedal, the vehicle would stutter and then finally catch and increase in speed. The dealer performed a tune-up, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, but they could not pinpoint the cause of the failure. The manufacturer has not been notified. The current mileage was 57,802 and failure mileage was approximately 57,400. Updated 03-04-09 bf the consumer stated a code for the o2 sensor heater was being displayed. The engine light is still on.
