| Description of the problem | I received a chrysler safety recall notice over a year and a half ago for faulty ignition switch for our 2005 jeep grand cherokee. I've contacted my local jeep dealer numerous times with the same story that the replacement part isn't available. My jeep is starting to experience issues with the ignition and the dealer tells me they can replace the ignition with a new one subject to the same recall issues at my expense non reimbursable since the part is not the new improved replacement ignition. This is very concerning as the vehicle is not safely reparable and experiencing issues. Please advise ! |
