The contact later received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 13v175000 (electrical system , power train) and had the recall remedy performed on the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure recurred several times after the recall repair and each time the remedy repair failed to correct the problem. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician verified that the shift motor and control module were defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
