Description of the problemAir bag light is constantly flashing and rendering cruise control useless. Everything work as necessary, then one day when attempting to get on highway, i pressed cruise control only for it to flash in the dash panel, then disappear. Once off the highway to my destination, i turned the grand cherokee off. When i got back in the vehicle, the airbag light stayed on for at least 15 minutes then shut off. During the time of the air bag light on, i was able to press the cruise control and have it stay on the dash panel, but i still had no use of it. Once the air bag light shut off, i then pressed cruise control again just for it to flash on then back off. Now the passenger airbag light is flashing or stays illuminated when the vehicle is being used. My jeep just passed 125,000 miles. This shouldn't happen to sucha low mileage vehicle for the age.. Who will fix this mess?
