| Description of the problem | While driving a 2004 jeep grand cherokee on i495n going about 65 mph with the sun roof fully closed, the sun roof glass exploded, showering glass throughout the car. Initially i thought someone threw a rock and struck the window, but we were not near an overpass, nor were trucks or other cars closs enough to toss a rock up in order to hit the moonroof glass. A rock was not found in the car upon inspection. The local jeep dealer said that it must have been a rock that hit the window and therefore would not be covered under the warranty. I think the window just failed from either stress or from a manufacturing defect... But how do i prove it?*ak |
