| Description of the problem | I have had 3 window regulators break in my 2004 jeep cherokee. The regulator itself is a faulty product, made of cheap plastic instead of something that is built to last with metal. Daimler-chrysler took a major shortcut to save a few bucks and now jeep owners are paying for it. Each window regulator costs about 277 dollars from a jeep dealership, and they charge $500 for parts and labor to fix 1 (one) regulator. I've had 3 fail and replaced, so i've paid $1500 on a 4 year old american vehicle... On the windows!! This is ridiculous and this product should be recalled, and jeep owners should be reimbursed for all expenses, or have all 4 window regulators replaced free of charge. |
