Description of the problem3rd failure of climate control system inside vehicle controlling a/c, heat, vents, etc. Have paid a total of $3119 to have it repaired with new oem chrysler replacement parts by certified mechanics. The same failure continues to occur where the climate control "blend doors" break in their plastic housing causing the doors to move independent of the computer control signals. In the winter, cold air will blow regardless of setting, and in the summer hot air blows - also regardless of setting. This latest failure occurred outside of the warranty. It was already fixed once within warranty period before 2 subsequent failures. Dealer reps informed me that 80+% of vehicles with dual climate control option have this problem. I have owned a 2000 and 2005 grand cherokees and have also experienced the same issue with both vehicles.
