Description of the problem	Dt: 2004 jeep grand cherokee. The consumer stated the gas pedal broke while driving. The throttle cable that was attached to it broke. This caused an accident. The consumer ran into a brick wall, parked car, and a pole before the vehicle stopped. The brake would not stop the vehicle. The vehicle was then towed to the dealership. Chrysler will not tell the contact anything about why this happened. No one was injured the police were called, but they did not respond because it happened in a parking lot. The vehicle had been running normally prior to this accident. This occurred on september 14, 2004. The insurance company was the agency that found that the throttle cable broke.
