Description of the problem	Vehicle experienced sudden acceleration. After coming to a complete stop and idling. The rpms suddenly revved up, then went back down, followed by sudden acceleration. When this occurred excessive force had to be applied to the brake pedal to stop the acceleration. This resulted in consumer's vehicle almost running a red light and hitting a pedestrian.
