Description of the problem	Tl*the contact owns a 2004 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated that the abs would not lock or "grip" as quickly as it should. The failure caused difficulty when braking. She also noticed that there was a "gliding" effect when driving 40 mph and attempting to brake. Furthermore, she experienced difficulty turning the steering wheel. As a result, she made wide turns due to the amount of effort she had to put into turning the wheel. She took the vehicle to the dealer and they checked the brakes. The dealer changed the brake pads and stated that everything was fine. The second time the contact took the vehicle to the dealer for the abs failure she was informed again that everything was fine. The vehicle has not been inspected for the steering failure. The current mileage was approximately 43,000 and failure mileage was approximately 20.
