Description of the problem	Our 2004 jeep grand cherokee special edition began shuddering when applying brake pressure. This is an extremely dangerous occurrence as it could easily shudder out of the driver's control. We took the vehicle in with 13,365 miles on it. Norman chrysler jeep dodge service center stated that the rotors were warped out of round . 006 a piece. Both these and the brake pads were replaced. The dealership would not replace this under warranty. We were forced to pay out of pocket for something that was far beyond "normal" wear and tear. The service center rep told my husband that "your wife rides the brake." this is not a true statement and i feel that daimler chrysler is shrugging off responsibility for a potentially dangerous safety issue. Searching the internet i have found many many complaints of the same issue. We are currently up to 18,000 miles and i am waiting for the rotors to warp again. There is now a class action settlement associated with this obvious safety issue. *nm
