| Description of the problem | I have a 2004 grand cherokee laredo. Today while getting into my jeep, my drivers seat frame broke. Loose in the front left corner. Now my driver seat rocks when i apply the brake or give gas. Wow, thank the lord i was not driving when this happened. I have contacted chrysler about this to see if they will assist with repair even though i have 70,000 miles of use. After doing some research, it appears this is a known issue yet no recalls are performed. It's going to cost me roughly $700. 00 to get this fixed. Below is a link i found with a lot of complaints around this issue. Http://vlane. Com/poll/30/2001-jeep-grand-cherokee-has-your-driver-side-front-seat-broken-on-this-jeep. |
