Description of the problem	Driver's side seat bracket broken on my 2004 jeep grand cherokee. After researching on the internet, it seems that it is a common problem with grand cherokees. There is a steel tube that goes from side to side that is entirely too thin and it shears off at the bracket. It was not involved in any accident, it just breaks from normal use, which for a seat bracket, should not happen. I fixed it once last summer and now another part is broken. The seat is now basically a rocking chair and if i were to get in a crash, there is no doubt in my mind that the bracket would fail further and possibly cause serious injury.
