| Description of the problem | Interior lights stopped working on 2004 jeep grand cherokee laredo. River oaks jeep replaced right front door harness june 13, 2006. Same problem again and wire in front door post harness repaired by chuck nash jeep in san marcos january 13, 2009. Same problem again and repaired by bluebonnet jeep in new braunfels august 20, 2010. The wires in the harness are too short and break with the action of the door. Was told by bluebonnet this is a common failure with this vehicle but chrysler jeep refuses to recall these vehicles. This is a serious fire hazard. I spoke with a chrysler customer service representative about this and another problem but she seemed unconcerned. Internet research showed many complaints about this problem. |
