| Description of the problem | Front passenger side door wiring harness broke at 165,150 miles. (this has happened on the driver side of my 1999 jeep also). Many complaints on the internet of this very problem!!! Happens to almost all jeeps at some point. Too short of wiring harness and/or brittle of wires. This repeating problem needs to be a recall for all of the door wiring harnesses. When this happens, doors do not lock, windows can not be raised or lowered, back hatch or window cannot be opened. If there is a pet in the far back and a pet fence is in place up front, you cannot get to the pet!!! Please make this a recall to fix. Thank you. Jeep/chrysler needs to be held accountable. |
