| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2004 jeep grand cherokee. While driving approximately 20 mph, the vehicle stalled. After several attempts the vehicle was able to be restarted. The failure recurred multiple times intermittently in moist conditions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The crank shaft position sensor was replaced. The contact was made aware of nhtsa campaign number: 04v112000 (electrical system); however, the vin was not included. The contact also stated that the driver side door failed to lock and unlock, the window failed to roll up and down, and the sensor illuminated when the door was not open. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 170,000. |
