| Defect summary | On certain sport utility vehicles equipped with 4. 0l engines, the crankshaft position sensor wiring insulation may crack and expose the wire. |
| Consequence summary | In the presence of moisture, this could result in sensor malfunction, which could cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash. |
